Privacy Policy

PanorVoice is a free desktop dictation product by Panorify. This policy explains how PanorVoice handles information when you use the macOS app, the upcoming Windows app, and this website (panorvoice.panorify.in).

PanorVoice is designed to be local-first. On the local transcription path, speech does not need to leave your device to become text.

Microphone audio. When you dictate, PanorVoice captures audio from your microphone to produce text. On the default local path, that audio is processed on your machine.

Transcripts. Text you generate may appear in History and related in-app surfaces so you can reuse or review it. Transcripts stay on your device unless you choose to move them elsewhere yourself.

Speech models. Local models you download (for example Whisper sizes) are stored on your disk for everyday use.

API keys (optional). If you enable cloud ASR (OpenAI, Groq, or a custom endpoint), keys you enter are stored using platform security: macOS Keychain or Windows DPAPI. Keys are not included in settings exports.

Permissions. The app may request microphone access and, on macOS, Accessibility so it can paste into the focused field. These permissions are controlled by your operating system.

Cloud speech is opt-in. If you route audio to a provider with your own keys, that provider processes the audio under their terms and privacy policy. PanorVoice does not sell your speech or transcripts.

The marketing site provides product information and download links. Standard web server or host logs (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URLs) may be collected by the hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use the site to sell personal data.

If you click through to panorify.in, that site is governed by Panorify's own policies.

The macOS app may be downloaded as a DMG from this site. The Windows installer will be published here when available. Downloading an installer is voluntary.

PanorVoice is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
